Nigerians have been exposed to so much excuses for the failures of this government in the past six years that Nigerians are not only fed-up but also no more surprised by them anymore, a new poll conducted by YeyeNews.com has confirmed.
“From the excuse of past administration’s mismanagement of resources to the COVID-19 pandemic, most Nigerians are now so used to the excuses and lies that they have become immune”, a pollster Bode Johnson told YeyeNews.com. “Over 85% of Nigerians are no longer affected by the excuses of this government. They are just counting down to their exit in 2023. If this were a pandemic, it will be safe to say Nigerians have developed a herd immunity.”
“The feeling of despondency over the failure of this government has become so widespread that no one made a whimper when the government blamed the level of insecurity in the country on the United States’ delay in delivery the Super Tucano aircrafts. At this point Buhari can even say it is the bandits that are responsible for the loss in value of the naira and everyone will accept it. Nigerians are simply tired of the excuses”, an economic expert told YeyeNews.com reporter.
A public servant who pleaded anonymity lamented the level of incompetence that has been displayed by this government. “I have been exposed to so much of their incompetence that I don’t feel it anymore. Whenever I begin to feel the effects of their cluelessness I just tell myself, don’t worry it is the PDP’s fault after all.”
