The Nigerian army has made an unverified claim that it shot down an unidentified flying object (UFO) hovering at a low altitude close to the camp of notorious bandit Bello Turji. A source in the DHQ told YeyeNews.com that the military top brass are preparing to brief the president about the incident.
“The rumor around here is that a UFO believed to be supplying arms to bandits was shot down around Sokoto and one ‘alien’ pilots was captured. They said the pilot looks nothing like anything from this world. This strange incident has given credence to the long held suspicion in the Nigerian military circles that some invisible forces are aiding the bandits which is why they had proved so elusive. I think this success recorded is as a result of the group of marabout that the military recently engaged to help in the fight against banditry”.
But a senior military officer who pleaded anonymity told YeyeNews.com reporter that the captured ‘alien’ pilot has mysteriously escaped from military custody before they could transfer the entity to a secure location. “Yes, it is true we had an encounter with a UFO which we believe has been supplying arms to the bandits. Though we initially shot them down but right now we cannot account for the entities and their craft as they have mysteriously disappeared as they were being transported.”
“No one is sure about the exact relationship they have with the bandits but preliminary investigations seem to suggest that the bandits supply human specimen to them for their experiments in exchange for arms. The military leadership will soon be briefing the president on this ‘alien’ connection to banditry. We think this is progress as we now understand why it has been so difficult to contain and defeat the bandits so far. But all this will soon come to end because the military has taken measures to attack this problem from the spiritual angle”.
Meanwhile various security experts have dismissed the claim of the army. A security expert Mohd Bello told YeyeNews.com that the claim of UFOs supplying arms to bandits is absurd. “This claim is so funny. I think those marabouts are playing smoke and mirrors with the army. And unfortunately the military leadership are willing to accept this ‘alien’ theory because they are already at their wits end and just grasping at any excuse that comes their way to explain their utter failure”, Mr. Mohd said.
