Witches across Nigeria are celebrating the return of the ancient mode of flying, following the annunciation of suspended flights to Nigeria by Emirates Airline.
The group made the announced their return to business at a stakeholders meeting. They confirmed that flights will soon commence at a cheaper rate, unlike the high cost of flight being charged by airlines.
Speaking to yeyenews reporter after the meeting, the president of the Nigerian Witches Association, told the reporter that this is a welcome development. She lamented how in the last few years, their activities had been relegated to the background and frowned upon by people.
“At least now that the airlines are leaving one after the other, Nigerians will realise our worth. Our services are more personalised and comes at a cheaper rate. All you need is a broom and a voucher from us” she added.
When asked by our reporter if Nigerians could use the brooms they had at home, the apex witch shook her head vigorously,
“of course not, they have to buy new brooms. It is sad Nigerians are now weary of brooms after their experience with the APC, but we assure them that they’ll be safe on the broom”.
On how they will remit taxes to the government, the head witch said they had no business with government.
“Where were they when our members were being hunted? They should stay out of our business” she fumed.
The association is hoping to extend their activities to international airspace. Asked whether they expected stiff competition from their foreign counterparts, the head witch simply smiled at our reporter.
