The Advertising Agency of Nigeria yesterday advised business owners in Nigeria to take advantage of the high number of Nigerians visiting Pornhub by advertising their businesses in the pornographic website. In a document posted in the agency’s website, they said Nigerians are the highest visitors to Pornhub in the world followed by India.
“Our records show that over 25 million Nigerians visit Pornhub daily. This is a huge market for product advertisement. Nigerian businesses need to take advantage of this market. It has the advantage of being cheaper than conventional advertisement”, part of the statement reads.
A Director in the agency explained to YeyeNews.com reporter that the advice became necessary because of numerous calls on the agency to intervene in bringing down the high cost of advertising in the print and electronic media. “People especially small business owners have been complaining about the high cost of advertising their products. Even the so called social media influencers now charge exorbitant fees for adverts on their pages which they operate without any charge from the social media platforms.”
“But many Nigerian business owners are not aware of the existence of cheaper and as well effective platforms to advertise their products. So we had to tell them about Pornhub. Millions of Nigerians visit the site daily but very few are taking advantage of that number. Those who advertised their products there have given positive reviews. Ironically most are from the northern part of the country which many believe to be a conservative region”.
However, an entrepreneur who runs a private home teaching company told YeyeNews.com that advertising his services in Pornhub and other pornographic sites have increased his clientele tremendously. “Since I started advertising in these sites, it has been a bumper for me and my crew. I just hired ten new tutors last week to be able to meet up with the demand. During the lockdown, I was so overwhelmed to the extent I had to reject some clients. Advertising on Pornhub has been a blessing”.
YeyeNews.com gathered that the adverts from Nigerian businesses in the pornographic site have increased since the Advertising Agency released the statement. “People are rushing to advertise their products there”, a business developer stated.
