The founder of Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry Onitsha, Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere popularly known as Prophet Odumeje, has predicted that Andy Uba will ultimately become the governor of Anambra State even though he will lose the general election to the candidate of another party.
A member of Prophet Odumeje’s church who pleaded anonymity told YeyeNews.com reporter that the prophet had earlier made a prediction that the election will not hold because he saw ‘massive deaths’ by guns but the it all failed to fulfill as the election was conducted peacefully. “After his earlier prediction failed to materialize, the prophet has come up with another one that Andy Uba will be declared the governor of Anambra State”, the source said.
The source who claimed to be very close to the self-proclaimed pastor told YeyeNews.com that “Prophet Odumeje revealed that he had a vision where he saw Andy Uba receiving a bowl of Nkwobi from Hope Uzodinma in front of the Supreme Court building. He said it is a sign that Andy Uba will become another Supreme Court governor”.
Another source in the church confirmed the prophecy to YeyeNews.com reporter. “It is true that he made another prediction after the first one turned out to be false. But we don’t believe that those prophecies are from God anymore. The prophet is just making predictions based on the events happening around. It is something anybody can do just like predicting which team will win a football match. Sometimes you may be right but other times you may get it wrong. That is what they do. Its all guess work”.
But an assistant pastor in the church has come out to defend the the prophecy of Prophet Odumeje arguing that the Anambra State election was held peacefully because of the intercessions of the prophet. “We fasted and prayed to God to protect Idi Anambra and give us peace during the election. God then told Prophet Odumeje that since there will be violence If Andy Uba wins the election, He will make another candidate win but will return Andy Uba’s mandate through another means. That is how our fasting and prayer moved God to reorder the events in Anambra to save many lives. But God has already revealed to the prophet how he will restore Andy Uba’s mandate”.
