Afrobeat star, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has vowed to marry two new wives on Christmas Day 2021 to quell, once and for all, the crisis raging in his household, according to tidbits anonymously disclosed to YeyeNews.com.
The ‘African Queen’ crooner has been embroiled in a cheating controversy since he came to the music scene but this this time his wife, Annie, accused him of having inordinate jolly time with the woman who had his three kids, Pero Adeniyi. It quickly degenerated into an online tussle between 2Baba’s family members and his enraged wife, both sides trying to out spill the other person’s secrets.
Tuface, who unverified reports claimed had one of his teeth decked out by Annie who has a black belt in karate, after consultations with his advisers made up his mind to marry Pero and two other women on Christmas Day. According to this anonymous informant, Tuface was quite impressed when it was explained to him how larger-than-life men like Fela, MKO Abiola, Obasanjo, Ned Nwoke, and so on maintained a life full of women made up his mind. “Annie either put up or shut up. If I’m married to a woman, I’m married to her. Period. I can get an apartment or house for her, sleep there when I like without being queried. Have you heard that a wife accused her husband of sleeping with her co-wife?” he was reported to have said.
“Annie will have nothing to worry afterward because the three women will be legally married to me and they will join hands with her to cater for the needs of my large family”, he reasoned.
YeyeNews.com contacted 2Baba by text in his hideout in America and asked him why he never said anything, and that it was all Annie’s version out there on the internet. He said: “The reason why I have chosen not to comment on social media is because I seem to be immature in these things. At my age I’m wise enough to know that people will always act like they are saints. It’s not like I have committed a crime by re-bedding a woman who Annie knows full well I have always bedded, before and after our wedding. It’s my right, she has my kids, and I have no explanation for any of my sexual adventures. That’s my life. That’s me.”
YeyeNews.com went ahead to find out if he intends having the wedding ceremony in Dubai or Seychelles or somewhere else, the 45-year-old living legend said, “Nigerians complained that Annie and I did our wedding far away from home. We regretted it. Hahaha. They said we denied them of free food, drinks and souvenirs. We won’t repeat the same mistake again. Once bitten, twice shy.”
