A powerful babalawo in Benin City has come out to declare that the Nigeria born MMA fighter Kamaru Usman will never be defeated as long as he is alive. The babalawo made the claim at his home in Benin City on the night the “Nigerian Nightmare” defeated his challenger Colby Covington to retain the UFC Welterweight title.
A source who was present at the house told YeyeNews.com reporter that the babalawo kept on saying incantations throughout the match. “At some point he walked into his room and when he returned he declared victory for Kamaru. Truly Kamaru was declared winner. He has boasted that so far that he is alive nobody will defeat Kamaru in the ring”.
The son of the babalawo told YeyeNews.com that his father has never met the Nigerian UFC champion physically. “My father always meet Kamaru in the dream to fortify him before any fight. So no matter how hard he is punched the, MMA fighter will keep charging down on his opponent. The punches become paper weight as soon as they land on the fighter. Kamaru doesn’t even know he is being protected by my father. And my father doesn’t expect any reward from Kamaru. He just love him and want to display to the world how powerful he is”.
The son further narrated how another Nigerian UFC champion refused to eat the food the babalawo gave him in a dream one week before his loss to Jan Blachowicz. “My father said that other guy Isreal is very stubborn unlike Kamaru. He tried visiting him before that fight he lost but Isreal did not cooperate. So now my father has decided to focus on Kamaru. He is confident Kamaru will never taste defeat in his present weight category so long as their dream world relationship remains cordial”, the son told YeyeNews.com.
